UKC Ch. Inkwells Velvet Lace For Milwin CGC

"Gabby"

Gabby came to us from Paula Waterman of Inkwell Australian Shepherds.  We co-own her with Debbie Mills of Milwin Australian Shepherds.  Gabby is a very energenic puppy, I was warned that she would be alot like her grandmother     Ch. Davlin Milwin Double Trouble "Emmie" who from what I heard was a stunning, beautiful, and a wonderful winning bitch that was always busy.  For instance I was told by a few reliable sources that Emmie would untie Debbies shoe's while stading ringside waiting to go into the conformation ring. But that among other things she did was o.k with Debbie as Emmie did no wrong.  Emmies daughter, (Gabbys mother) "Ribbon"  AKC, ASCA, Ch. Milwins Silver Ribbon at Inkwell is very energenic also.  Everyone that knows Paula and Ribbon knows that Ribbon loves to jump into her mom Paulas arms, she does this from standing at Paulas side or from a running start.  Well that should tell you what I have with Gabby.  A very loving, beautiful, energenic girl that has a hard time keeping her paw's on the ground!  That is what makes Gabby who she is...Wow, what a firecracker!  Thank you Paula and Debbie

When Gabby was 5 months she went out to her first real dog show: Blue Ridge Australian Shepherd Club's Sizzlin' Summer Shows. She took first place in 3 out of 4 shows and  Gabby took Best puppy in show under ASCA breeder judge Melinda Gann.

When Gabby was 6 months old we took her to the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club match. Gabby took Best Puppy in Match.

Later that month we took Gabby to The Carolina Australian Shepherd Club ASCA Holoween Shows and Gabby did Very well winning her puppy class in all 5 shows.  In one of the shows she was pulled and put in 3rd place behind some very nice adult dog's and professional handlers.

The first time we took Gabby out to a herding clinic, she got her first leg toward her herding certification.  The same day she earned her Canine Good Citizen Certification.  She aced it the first time. Gabby is always into something, but she is always willing to please us and do whatever we ask.  Who could ask for more!

When Gabby was seven months old we took her to her first UKC show's...She went into the ring like a pro and got her UKC Championship in one weekend.

We are currently working on getting Gabbys second leg to get her herding certification. On her first try she thought it would be fun to climb on the sheep and pull the wool off of them. eedless to say she did not pass.  I am sure it has something to do with her genes.    We are currently working on that.
